Let me take you on this magic carpet ride...

Unbelievable sights,
Indescribable feeling,
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky...

New Moon.

Went to the Pathe Lingotto to watch New Moon with the girls today :)

The crazy car ride with Camilla's mom to the Lingotto was just hilarious :)
We ate sushi for lunch. Yum.

The cinema didn't open till 2pm so we wandered around the Lingotto taking pictures in the photo booths and going crazy with the children's joy rides :D

There was this one part of the Lingotto where you can see an open courtyard in the middle filled with greenery. That so reminded me of the Rainforest area in 1 Utama :) Memories :) I can't wait to go back to Malaysia and go on a shopping spree with the sakais :) KITSCHEN!

As I walked into the cinema, I couldn't help but think of the GSC in 1 Utama. Somehow, I've always loved the GSC Cinema in 1 Utama. Whenever I walk in, I feel grand :P Everything's so massive and huge :) Plus, the popcorn's way way better ;)

Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.

To be honest, I thought I would be bored watching New Moon in Italian, even though I've read the books and all. But it was alright actually :) Though I'm still going to watch in again in English of course.

Team Edward: Violetta, Sofia, Greta, Louisa

Team Jacob: Sarah, Camilla, Giorgia

Teehee ;)

When I go back to Malaysia in June, I'm so gonna splurge in cinema tickets :)
I said this last time wtheck.
There'd better not be some flu going around if not I'd be so pissed.
This summer I only went to the cinema TWICE.
Once with the family to watch Transformers 2, the other with Felicity to watch 17 Again.
I miss going to the movies practically every Saturday night :)

I'll update pictures as soon as I get my hands on 'em :)

Birthday Wishes

A very, very hectic week pfft.

I've got loads to do over the weekend. I have homework from every single subject except for Art.
All I can say is thank goodness next week we'll have three half-days at school.
'Cos of Parent's-Teacher's Conference.
So on Monday, I'm going to see New Moon with the girls to celebrate Lou + Giorgia's birthday :)
Sad thing is, it's gonna be dubbed in Italian and there isn't going to be any English subtitles.
Well at least, I've read the book and seen the trailer, so I guess I'm good :)

GO TEAM JACOB lol ;)

LMAO seeing as we are on the New Moon topic, check this out:

***

HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY to Louisa Price and Giorgia Rizzi (:

Awesome people (:

I've known Louisa since Sept 5, 2008, Orientation Day :)
Since then, she's been one of my closest, bestest friends (:
She loves GREEN, CATS, HORSE-RIDING and CAKE!

[I've just noticed I don't have a nice picture of Giorgia!]

Giorgia is probably the first Italian girl I actually made friends with :)
She sat in front of me in History last year :)
She's giggly, friendly and her noticeable trademark is her beautiful thick hair.

Happy Birthday you two :D

***

I watched World Trade Center starring Nicolas Cage!

It was good but you know what I would think would make a good 9/11 film?

The al-Qaeda people actually planning the attack and hijacking one of the four planes.
Or you know how one of the planes was planned to hit the US Capitol Hill or the Whitehouse but the passengers managed to fight off and detoured the plane to another location?
That would've been interesting :)
Although all of them were tragically killed in the crash so we might not get real accounts of what happened.
Haha this just reminds me of Air Force One film :)

I don't feel like doing ANY homework at all. I have had the cold since Wednesday sighs.
Apparently there has been some swine flu cases in the school.
Not surprising really since lately people have not been coming to school cos of flu sickness, fever and what not.

Anyways ciao people (:

We got to get right back to where we started from.

Haha well I obviously haven't blogged about my Roman Holiday yet :P

I said I would do it on Saturday but I was busy. I headed over to Lou's place with Manisha and Amira to finish our WWII Western Front History Presentation. And it looks AWESOME :D
Thanks to Louisa's vivid imagination, we stuck four toy green soldiers in total onto the poster paper for deco effect :) A brilliant touch :)

My dad came back from Malaysia on Saturday!! Bringing back the usual huge amount of stuff he bought from Malaysia :P And DVDs especially by the dozen :)

1. Blood Diamond starring Leonardo di Caprio
2. Star Trek starring Chris Pine
3. Crossing Over starring Harrison Ford
4. A Beautiful Mind starring Russell Crowe

To be honest, I don't feel like watching any of them though, well except for Star Trek of course. I watched that on Saturday night. I was never a Star Trek fan. I mean I remember seeing bits of it when I was small when my parents were watching. That's about it. But I must say, it was quite a good film :)

Louisa lent me Fawlty Towers, a popular British sitcom. I've seen four episodes already and they're quite hilarious ;) Mind Your Language is funnier though :)

Ooooh gotta go now people,

I smell yummy delicious scrumptious Fried Mee Hoon! :D

Hope there's chili (:

Random Chain of Thoughts

Quiet and reserved.

Hmm. I don't think I was quite like this back in Malaysia.

In BU3, I used to collapse to the floor with uncontrollable giggles almost everyday.

Every little thing made me laugh and smile. Maybe that's where I got that specific nickname.

Seems like a long time ago since I've had a good hearty laugh.

Well actually I did yesterday evening, but that's not the point :)

* * *

Anyways, so sorry for not updating this blog of mine.

BUSY. BUSY. BUSY.

Or rather LAZY. LAZY. LAZY. ;)

Aargh in PE we're doing football, something which I totally hate. I don't get what boys see in football. Then again, maybe it's because I suck at it so yeah. Then again, I suck at basketball but kinda like it :) Ahh maybe that's just Bu3 talk :)

PERSONAL PROJECT!!!!

Am I running out of time? I hope not.

I need to complete everything by the end of January. Eep.

But I'm working on it. Don't worry :) I think.

Oh and Rome pictures! I'll try to update about it as soon as possible, maybe this Saturday? :)

Oh oh I've finally watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine :)

I know what you're thinking,

Like what the heck, it came out in April last year. Outdated much?

But like I've said a million times before. Movies here are dubbed into italian in the cinemas!

Story of my life.

Omgees I am 15. I never thought I would EVER reach this point in my life. I still remember when I was 7 and was in awe of practically anyone two feet taller than me.

Imagine, I only have 2 years and 7 months till high school ends! Then it's off to university.

That seems like miles away but it's really not. Why does time pass so fast? Before I know it, I'll be some wrinkled old lady living in a small cottage with 27 cats.

OK not that miserable obviously :D

But time seriously passes so fast! I thought I was just 12 years old back in SKTS sitting for UPSR, getting back the results, moving to PJ, entering secondary school, moving here, etc.

Thought to be honest, I'm quite excited for university :) I wonder what's in store for me :)

Life is full of surprises isn't it?

I know I've ha a fair share of them back home :) And I will never ever forget them. Maybe I'll even write a fictional book based on them. They are so not worth forgetting. But it's one thing to have experienced them and another to read them in a story so maybe not. I don't know. We'll see.

Sorry for crapping about random stuff all throughout this post. It's like a chain of thoughts. English class with Ms. Richards can do that to you lol :)

Ahhh. Friday at last :)

PSHE lessons are always the best.

LMAO.

Everyone, call paper banana from now on (:

Mr Peacock was wearing his coat and scarf during PSHE.

And Daniele and Gianlorenzo followed him lol.

I literally had to force myself to stop laughing.

Oh and Daniele tried to trip Mr Peacock :')

Open your eyes, this is what dreams are made of

So I am back from ROME, the eternal city :)

So much of it reminded me of well, The Lizzie McGuire Movie :)

The Colosseum;
Trevi Fountain;
The Spanish Steps;

Rome was everything I thought it to be I would think. Although there are so many more places I haven't visited.

Pictures will be uploaded real soon :)

Here's a summary of all the places I've been to:

Vatican City
St Peter's Basilica
The Sistine Chapel
The Vatican Museum
The Colosseum
The Palatine Hill
The Roman Forum
Trevi Fountain
The Spanish Steps

Couldn't resist watching The Lizzie McGuire Movie on YouTube today :)

And I understood every single Italian being spoken muahaha ;)

Carmenites and Sarahans vs Paolopians (:

In a very different world,

there live two different countries: Carmen and Sarah

Its people, the Carmenites and Sarahans live together in peace and harmony.

But there is a country which really pisses Carmen and Sarah off.

.
.
.

PAOLO.

Yes. The Carmenites and Sarahans LOATHE and DETEST the Paolopians and will do whatever it takes to defeat them.

Miss you girl (:

Come let's walk with the Oriental Parade.

WHAT A WEEK!

Fall Break is here and I shall be going to Rome :) YAY!

Tuesday;

The whole Grade 10 class went to a Sports Arena for track and field.

It was EXHAUSTING.

We had to: 100m sprint, Long jump, Vortex throwing and 800m run.

Lemme just say right now that the 800m run was KILLER.

The following day my legs were hurting like crazeeee.

But the BEST part of the day was on the way back to school! :D

It was the BEST, MOST FUNNEST bus ride EVER! (:

Gianlorenzo was flirting with Amira :)

Aww Amira I felt sorry for you. Don't worry, they were just playing a fool :)

But it was the most HILARIOUS bus ride I've experienced in my life :')

Thank you Gino for making it happen haha.

Wednesday;

We watched the History WWII Causes video (:

Continued the Facial Portraits in Art.

Thursday;

We finished The Great Gatsby novel (:

So we've started watching the 1974 film The Great Gatsby starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow.

Mia Farrow portrays Daisy and she just gets on my nerves. Her accent in the movie is way fake and high-pitched.

The actor who played Nick Carraway looked strangely like Steve Carrell.

And OMG. ROBERT REDFORD looks EXACTLY like BRAD PITT.

Don't believe me?

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

SEEEEEE! :D

Apparently he was THE Brad Pitt of his generation.

Now he looks just like this:

So at least we'll know how Brad Pitt will look like a few years from now lol.

Aargh we have homework for the holidays. Damn.

1. English Great Gatsby Essay
2. French Oral on French Television
3. Math Assessed Task on Stopping Distance
4. History Interview and Reflection

Ahh well. I'm going to Rome :) ROME. THE ETERNAL CITY.

Ciaooooo (:

My Birthday.

A Great Big Thank You to everyone who actually remembered my birthday :)

People don't normally remember it, I know it for a fact from experience.

Which doesn't make any sense after the countless birthday parties I've had in primary school.

Kidding! I'm not being spiteful here :)

Thank you Louisa, Violetta, Giorgia, Virginia and the other people in my class who signed and made the last minute birthday card :)

I appreciate it very much (:

And Louisa, I forgive you ;) Haha.

* * *

Yesterday, Mom made my favourite dish for dinner (: Yum.

Mee Hoon + Soup + Chicken + Lots of Fried Onions + Garlic + Chilli!

She spent one and half hours preparing it but we all gobbled it down within 15 minutes haha!

It was way better than going to Spirito Santo for seafood :P

A man has only one lifetime, but history can remember you forever.

COULD WORLD WAR II HAVE BEEN AVOIDED?

*shrugs*

I'm suppose to start on my History essay but somehow the Internet has pulled me into its world :)

Maybe not, mainly because of this guy here:

PSAT was OK, I guess.
The results will determine how OK it was :P
Anyway, it's just a practice test, not the real deal, so yeah.

This pics were taken from Alba (:
Check that spider out. I actually saw it wrapping its prey before my very eyes.
It did it so quickly, probably in 5 seconds.

It's soooo cold now (:

Snow + Winter + Christmas!

You can't get much better than that :D

I will be there someday, I can go the distance.

For today's PSHE lesson, Mr Peacock showed us a very, very boring documentary.

It was something about how humans think and blablabla.

MrPeacockDaniele

Well, so you see how the Egyptians used the design cycle as well. The design cycle wasn't just dreamt of the IB organisation. There was a purpose.

Ahhh.. So the Egyptians did the IB!

*Ignoring Daniele* They built the pyramid for the very purpose of trying to reach heaven. But they failed obviously.

So they only got a 3.

LMAO (:

Well, it went something like that anyway :P

For those of you who don't get it, the IB stands for International Baccalaureate. It is the program I'm studying right now. And for grades, they don't give As and Bs and Cs. They give you a grade from a number scale of 1-7.

I miss last year's English classes so badly (:

A trend has started in the class. LOL. This does not need to be elaborated (:

I have often dreamed of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer, when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying, this is where I'm meant to be

I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way, if I can be strong
I know every mile, will be worth my while
When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong.

I'm sorry, but Disney Classics have the best songs (:

Your world is my world, your fight is my fight

URGHHH. SCREW THAT GIRL.

She just HAD to add more complications in my life. Hopefully it doesn't catch on.

It happened so sudden. But it isn't true what she said! So I shouldn't worry too much right? SIGHS.

And I've NO ONE to share this with. Double SIGHS ><

***

Amira gave me MAGGI MEE! (: Thanks sooo much.

Haha I might end up treasuring it so much that I might not eat it :P

I'm currently addicted to this song:

It's called One Time by Justin Bieber.

He's only 15 years old and from Canada (:

It may be bubblegum pop but it's catchy (:

I can't wait for Fall Break!

Going to Rome (:

Hope we don't get any homework.

I'm going to school this Saturday to sit for my PSAT.

Wish me luck. Especially for the Maths.

WOOOTS!

PMR people are MERDEKA-ING!

Lucky idiots :)

And here I am, only 6 weeks into the school year.

I'll update soon (:
